The Lake Dallas Public Library is a national treasure, the main reason being its incomparable staff! During a career as a writer that has taken me to libraries around the world, Tina, Heather, Tracy, Lorraine, and Joe comprise the best team of librarians with whom I have ever been blessed to work! Their professionalism, kindness, thoughtfulness, resourcefulness, and tenacity are second to none!
Love this local library. Staff is excellent, the selection is surprisingly good, and if you're needing something they don't have they can request it from another library and get it in no time! My kids love coming here. Thanks for all you do!
The staff is excellent and the selection of movies surprisingly good, but if you're a regular working American, it might as well not exist. The hours it's open are incredibly small and change by the week it seems, and the hours may or may not be posted on the website. If there's a federal holiday, it's closed half the week. I really do enjoy this library but wish I could actually go there!
Good library and many activities for children here.
For a small library this place has a good selection and lots of resources. My kids love going to story time every Wednesday and Ms. Tina does a wonderful job with them! If you live in the area I highly recommend coming here!
